Long-Form Narrative Story
Female Empowerment: The Freedom to Have Fun
I wrote a long-form narrative piece during the spring 2018 semester about the Red Hat Society, a global social organization for women 50 and beyond. The story relates the society's ideals to the #MeToo and women's empowerment movements of today. The story required in-depth reporting as I observed the women of the Crafty Red Hatters, a Phoenix chapter of the RHS. Please click the button below to read it.

Honors Thesis
Fulfilling a Fashionable Need:
A Business Model for ASU's Fashion and Beauty Publication
A Business Model for ASU's Fashion and Beauty Publication
The thesis mentioned above was my capstone project for ASU's Barrett, the Honors College. I spent one year conducting research about university publications around the country and collecting data regarding student demographics, interests, and demands. Although the proposed publication has not come to fruition, my findings provided the school's fashion journalism organization with important insights to advance its content and endeavors.
